Pre-Assessment Of Occupational Hazard In Garbage Incineration Power Plant

With the development of national economy and rapid urbanization, more and more living garbage are generated. To ease the problem of the garbage,protect the land resources,as well as generate electricity of using waste heat,a waste incineration plants that can burn2,000 tons of garbage will be set up. Pre-assessment of occupational disease in the new project will be carried out.Objective:To identify,analyze and assess the possible occupational risk facters,confirm the hazard categories, judge the feasibility of construction projects according to the perspective of occupational disease prevention and to provide the necessary protection measures of occupational hazards and suggestions for the construction project.Methods:The construction projects according to the occupational hazard assessment criteria of the construction projects of the pre-assessment technical guidelines and the requirements of the construction project, the characteristics of the occupational hazard this evaluation mainly USES the analogy method, experience method, inspection form a comprehensive analysis method, according to the state department, and the relevant laws and regulations and standards for the pre-assessment.Through the investigation of aiming project and comprehensive analysis, to construction projects built after the operation intends to the occupational hazard of the rationality and validity of protective measures for comprehensive evaluation.Results:The main occupational hazard factors that may exist in this construction project were Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen chloride, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, hydrogen fluoride, dioxins, diesel, sulfur and its decomposition products, Calcium hydroxide dust, carbon dust, cement dust, other dust, noise, heat and radiation, frequency electric field.Occupational hazards test results:dust, toxic substances, noise, power frequency electric field in line with the requirements of occupational exposure limits, microbiological test results on garbage unloading platform exceeded.Conclusion:The items including the selection of site, the overall layout, the arrangement and layout of the facilities, occupational disease preventive and protective mensures, accorded with the requiements of laws and legislation of occupational health.Structural hygiene, personal protective equipments, the management system on industrial hygiene,emergenency rescue measures and hygiene auxiliary rooms need to improve.From occupational health point of view,the construction project is feasible.The construction project is belong to the proposed of Serious occupational hazards.
