Clinical Study Of Bu-shen-huo-xue Decoction On Treating Decreased Ovarian Reserve On Account Of Psychological Stress

Objective:To observe the influence that the therapy of tonifying kidney and activating the circulation of blood on the decreased ovarian reserve (DOR) induced by psychological stress. To investigate the clinical effect and mechanism of bu-shen-huo-xue decoction treating those patients. The study expect to provide an effective new basis for preventing decreased ovarian reserve.Methods:Forty women with DOR induced by excessive emotions (distinction: renal deficiency and liver stagnation) were divided randomly into two groups:therapy-group(20 cases, treated with bu-shen-huo-xue decoction) and controled-group(20 cases, hormone replacement therapy:estradiol valerate and medroxyprogesterone).The changes of clinical symptoms and signs, serum hormones(E2,FSH,LH), ovary blood flow indices(OVD,AFC,RI) and safety indices were observed before and after treatment. And the differences between therapy-group and controled-group were observed.Results:1,The total effective rate of the therapy-group was 85%,while the controled-group was 70%. By means of statistical analysis, there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the menstrual function and clinical symptoms of two groups were improved, and the symptoms of waist and knee sour and weak in therapy-group were obviously better than controled-group(P<0.05).2,After treatment, in therapy-group, the level of E2 was increased and the level of FSH and LH was decreased, there were significant differences between after and before threatment(P<0.05); while in controled-group, the the level of E2 was increased and level of FSH was decreased, compared with before treatment they have significant differences(P<0.05), the level of E2 was also increased, but there were no significant differences between before and after treatment(P>0.05). The therapy-group was superior to the controled-group on the level of FSH and LH (P<0.05).3,The AFC and RI have extremely significant differences in both groups after treatment (P<0.001). There were also significant differences between therapy-group and controled-group (P<0.05). But OVD didn't.Conclusion:â‘ Bu-shen-huo-xue decoction can effectively treat female menstrual disorder and clinical symptoms of decreased ovarian reserve, and it is obviously better than controled-group on improving the symptoms of waist and knee sour and weak.â‘¡Bu-shen-huo-xue decoction can regulate the function of hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary axis, decrease the level of gonadotropin, increase the level of estrogen, promote ovulation, and improve the ovary blood supply, therefore improve the ovarian function.
