Clinical Research On The Therapy Of Nourishing Yin To Suppressing Yang And Remove Blood Stasis Method For Asthenic Yin Causing Predominant Yang With Blood Stasis Symptom Type2 Diabetes Mellitus Associated With Hypertension

Purpose:Using "Nourishing Yin to suppressing Yang and remove Blood stasis" method to treat type2 diabetes mellitus associated with hypertension of asthenic yin causing predominant yang with blood stasis syndrome, through a randomized controlled clinical study, observe patients improvement in symptoms, signs, blood glucose and blood pressure. Using western medical clinical test for evaluation and control the Chinese and western medicine combined administration, with improvement of clinical symptoms and signs. Secondly control and evaluate possible prevention, delay or reduction of the disease's complication.Method:50 cases with type2 diabetes mellitus with associated with hypertension of asthenic yin causing predominant yang with blood stasis syndrome are randomly divided into 2 groups, there are 25 cases in each groups. The treatment group were given Chinese medicin (Shengdihuang 10g, Shanyurou 10g, Baishao 10g, Maidong 10g, Tianhuafen 10g, Juhua 10g, Shenglonggu 25g, Muli 25g, Gouteng 20g, Chuanxiong 10g, Weijianyu 10g, Danshen 10g) oral administration combine with oral Valsartan 80 mg once daily and Metformin 500mg 3 times a day.; the control group were given oral Valsartan 80 mg once daily and Metformin 500mg 3 times a day. Both groups took for 3 months. Outcome measure:the treament of clinical symptom were observed before and after fasting with 2h postprandial blood glucose, glucosylated hemoglobin, serum lipid(TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C), C reactive protein, as safety indicator. All data were statistical analyzed with statistical software SPSS 17.0.Result:â‘ The total effeetive rate of treated rop patients was 92%, while the controlled group was 80%. The treated group had an advantage than the controlled group (P<0.05)â‘¡The blood glucose, the blood pressure, HbAlc of two group lowered(P<0.01). And the treatd group had an advantage than the colltroled group (P<0.05).â‘¢Compared with pre-treament, in the treated group patients'TC, TG, LDL-C had a lowering and HDL-C had marked increase(P<0.01), showing that the combination of western medicine and Chinese medicine has the funtion of adjusting fat and it dose much better than using western medicine effected only in TC and HDL-Câ‘£The CRP of treament group had an obviously reduse, with had an advantage than the controlled group. There is no side effect in both groups.Conclusion:"Nourishing Yin to suppressing Yang and remove Blood stasis method" intergrates through a variety of ways in the effective role of blood glucose, adjusting blood pressure. It effectively improve type2 diabetes associated with hypertension clinical symptoms, signs and quality of live, The aspects of superiority and possible wide range of application, it is worth further study.
