Clinical Evaluation Research On The Curative Effect Of Lutu Haustus In Treating Type 2 Diabetes With Yang Vacuity And Blood Stasis Type

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of lutu haustus in treating type 2 diabetes with yang vacuity and blood stasis type,and provide clinical bases for the treating of type 2 diabetes which belong to yang vacuity and blood stasis type with lutu haustus.Methods70 patients with type 2 diabetes which belong to yang vacuity and blood stasis type were selected and divided into two groups randomly in the research。35 patients(control group) received gliclazide sustained-release tablets orally with lifestyle intervention,while 35 patients(study group) received lutu haustus arally beside therapeutic regimen of the control group;both groups were treated for tow months.Observe the changes of fasting blood-glucose (FPG),2- hour postprandial blood sugar level once a week,observe the changes of fasting plasma insulin(FINS),2-hour blood sugar in OGTT test,glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAIC),C peptide,insulin resistance index(HOMA—IR) and clinical TCM symptoms before and after treatment in the two groups,and analysed these data with statistic methods.Results1,1,The changes of observation items:1) The level of FPG,FINS,2hPG,HOMA-IR and HbAIC all stepped down while C peptide stepped up after treatment in both groups,and there were very significant differences(P＜0.01) before and after treatment;2) There were no significant differences(P＞0.05) in the two group between FPG,FINS,2hPG,HOMA-IR,HbAIC,C peptide;3),There were very significant differences(P＜0.01) between the TCM symptom scores in the study group,while there were differences(P＜0.05) between the TCM symptom scores in the control group.2,The evaluation of the curative effect:1) The hypoglycemic effect:There were no differences(P＞0.05) between the two groups;2) The improvements of TCM symptoms:the study group were better than the control group.(P＜0.01).3,Safety evaluation:There were no side effects discovered in both group during the treatment. ConclusionsThere was no difference between Lutu haustus and gliclazide sustained-release tablets in reducing blood sugar,but therapeutic regimen of the study group was much better than that of the control group in improving clinical TCM symptoms.Therefore,lutu haustus is a modus operandi in treating type 2 diabetes with yang vacuity and blood stasis type.
