| Objective:To observe and evaluate the cilnical security and validity of Cough capsule in treating Cough Variant Asthma (which belongs to Qi and Yin deficiency type in TCM) and explore the mechanism of it. Methods: 60 patients were divided into two groups at random. 30 patients in observation group were treated with Cough capsule plus Doxofylline and Budesonide. 30 patients in control group were treated with Doxofylline and Budesonide. The related items were measured before and after the treatment.Results:The clinical study showed that there is a significant difference(P<0.05)between the two groups.The effect of relieving airway inflammation,reducing the airway hyper-reaction and lung function and immunoregulation were improved more significantly in the treatment group than that in the control group. Conclusions: Cough capsule is an effective medicament of treating Cough Variant Asthma which can mdoderate the clinical sumptoms and prenvent it from transforming to asthma. |
