Observation Of The Clinical Effects On Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) With TCM Cream Combined With Comprehensive Treatment

Objectives:Observing the clinical effects on type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) patients with TCM cream (Wen Tong huo xue cream) combined with mecobalamin intramuscular injection(IM), single-rate infrared radiation (MIRE), body pressure machine and TDP therapy, compare with mecobalamin intramuscular injection(IM), single-rate infrared radiation (MIRE), body pressure machine and TDP therapy in terms of clinical effectiveness. Providing effective treatment methods. Methods:63 patients with DPN were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group every 32,31 cases. The treatment group:in conventional treatment on the basis of application TCM cream (Wen Tong huo xue cream) combined with mecobalamin IM, MIRE, body pressure machine and TDP therapy, once per day, continuous treatment for 4 weeks. The control group:in routine therapy with mecobalamin IM, MIRE, body pressure machine and TDP therapy, once per day, continuous treatment for 4 weeks. Results:In efficiency:treatment group 12 cases got high curative effects,15 cases got effective results, and 5 cases got invalid. A total effective rate of 84.4% within the treatment group was obviously higher than the 54.8% within the control group. These two groups of DPN patients with clinical total effectiveness showed a statistically significant difference (P< 0.01), and it did not cause apparent side effects. Conclusion:After a month of clinical observation with TCM cream (Wen Tong huo xue cream) combined with mecobalamin IM, MIRE, body pressure machine and TDP therapy group for DPN in clinical efficacy aspect is significantly better than mecobalamin IM, MIRE, body pressure machine and TDP therapy group, is a kind of more effective treatment of DPN methods, improving the quality of patients' life, so it seems highly recommendable.
