Objeetive:To compare the advantages and shortcomings of the two different thyroidectomy of thyroid diseases. Mthods:A total of 40 patients with thyroid diseases from February 2009 to March 2011 in this hospital were divided into the two groups:The operating time,blood loss, hospital stay after operation, hospital cost, postoperative pain assessment and sensory discomfort after operation among the two groups were compared.Results:18 patients via Endoscopic thyroidectomy approach,22 patients via Open thyroidectomy. Operations were successfully performed in 40 cases. Aged 21 to 73 years old, of which 22 patients underwent open thyroidectomy patients,18 patients underwent endoscopic thyroidectomy; of which 32 cases of female patients, male patients in 8 cases. To compare Endoscopic thyroidectomy group and open thyroidectomy group in the treatment of thyroid diseases satisfaction with cosmetic surgery patients, t=4.47,P<0.05. To compare Endoscopic thyroidectomy group and open thyroidectomy group in patients with postoperative pain conditions,t=1.82, P>0.05. Compare to Endoscopic thyroidectomy group and open thyroidectomy group in patients with operation time, t=2.76,P<0.05; more open group and endoscopic treatment of primary group of patients with hyperthyroidism blood loss,t=11.51, P<0.05; open group and endoscopic treatment of patients with thyroid diseases hospital costs, t=2.59, P<0.05; more open group and endoscopic treatment of thyroid diseases function group patients with postoperative hospital stay, t=2.71, P<0.05. Conclusion:1. Compared with open surgery and endoscopic in the aesthetic beauty requirements, more satisfied with psychological needs.2. Endoscopic surgery had been compared with open surgery, in postoperative pain and postoperative use of analgesics and blood loss and postoperative discomfort had been compared, were no statistically difference.3. Compared with open surgery, endoscopic surgery's operation time is long, expensive hospital stay, considerd the introduction of endoscopic surgery in our hospital was a short time, unskilled, and the initial surgical procedure on the initial equipment costs were high.
