For many years, rapid acquisitions of rock mass structure information and information-based processing technology have always been paid much attention to by scholars both at home and abroad. Domestic scholars have established a set of collection technology of rock mass structure surface information based on digital photogrammetric technology during the massive engineering practice and research work. But because there are many factors which affect its measurement accuracy, it is hard to apply and widely use it in the engineering practice. As a new technique developed in recent years, three-dimensional laser scanning technique is called another technology revolution in measurement area since the invention of the Global Position System. And due to its quickness, precision and measure without contact,it has an increasing importance in many fields. Based on the research of three-dimensional laser scanning technique's application in collection of rock mass structure information, development information management system to realize the rock mass structure of information management and information based on database automatically generate engineering geology map procedures and block stability evaluation system, this thesis has the following research achievement:(1)Based on conclusion of traditional rock mass structure information collection methods, this thesis puts forward the advantages of the application of three-dimensional laser scanning technology and systematically illustrates the principles and system characteristics of it.(2) Combined with the rock mass structure information collection work, this thesis analyzes software and hardware performance of Leica ScanStation2 laser scanner and proposes processing method to acquire point cloud data by using three-dimensional laser scanner to collect information of the rock mass structure. (3)Based on three-dimensional laser scanning data structure surface information's fast extraction method and design of processing program of Polyworks, and Cyclone software features in calculation; and through the practical engineering application with the field artificially compass measurement precision analysis comparison of 3d laser scanning technology, concludes feasibility of the application of rock mass structure surface in acquiring information engineering application.(4) Based on three-dimensional laser scanning data studied the method of generat the geological record graph, analyzes its application of geological record with traditional artificially field geological record results, the results of the study show that its analysis of the geological environments, area has traditional artificially logging incomparable advantage.(5) Developed the rock mass structure information management system, completing the effective management of complex range of geological logging data, based on database automatically generate slope joints and the drilling rose diagram histogram program. The block stability evaluation program SASW was embedded in the system so as to realize fast evaluate block stability.
