Research On Urban Open Space Under The Background Of Building A Resource-saving And Environment-friendly Society

With development of social economy and urban size, governments and citizens have more requirements. After improvement of living standard and cognitive ability, citizens have already realized that a city should be a home for living and working, so a balance development between nature and humanity is very crucial. The goal and guide of urban construction are to build an ecological city with sustainable development in the field of social improvement, economic increase and ecological growth. One of the theme of city design is urban wide space which throw big influence on city development, urban ecological environment and citizens' quality of life. Therefore, building a two-oriented society will bring new opportunity for urban development. Meanwhile, the inevitable trend of urban development is to set an ecological city with wide mechanism, improve environment and make urban space pattern harmonious with nature. Conceptions, like forming a right way to build a city, strengthening effort on urban management, especially management of urban programming and of urban growth, are on the top of public opinions.Under above mentioned background, this paper focuses on research of urban open space system drawing on published research achievements and experience. Under the background of resource-conserving and environment-friendly society advocated by the states, the paper will discuss applying principles of urban open space principles in the road of pursuing two-oriented society. This paper will mainly focus on analysis of relating issues, such as function and operation of urban wide space as well as its patterns. And this will provide theoretical reference for city programming and construction. This paper will discuss above issues in three ways.(1) This paper makes definition to urban open space and draws conclusions to many issues, such as its type, function and status quo by referring to many literatures and papers published by masters and doctors.
