ARM-Based Embedded Development Platform Architecture Design And Its Application

Embedded Systems product development has obtained a leading position in IT industry. Among different application fields of embedded system development, there is a common concern with a key technology: the design and research of embedded system development platform.A set of ARM-based microprocessor embedded development platform has been designed in this paper,applying the methodology of hardware and software designation. Most of the joint basic has been designed with the application of this system developers. A floor control system has been designed based on this platform for modern hotel rooms management and control system.It is successfully applied in an international hotel rooms control system in Shenzhen, which also verifies the validity of research and its practical value.The current research of embedded systems has been analysed both at home and abroad in this paper. Then the process of hardware design and implication of development based on the board S3C44B0X has been researched. The design of electrical schematics of the power module, MCU core modules, memory modules, I/O interface module, communications interface Module, debug have been gaven, as well as expand interface system and other major modules.Realizing the multi-function JTAG debugger with CPLD, the work of the hardware debugging is completed under the condition of SDT. Thirdly, it introduces the work of the transplant skill of embedded system, develops a custom BSP which successfully generation and download VxWorks operating system; In the final , it studies the application of this platform in hotel room control system, and also designed a realization program for this platform as a floor machine, discussed the working principles of the communications network and control.
