The research of "Gender and Media" has developed gradually in the mass communication. Newspaper which still has its profound charm and great influence in today electric media time is the earliest and most popular media in human history. The female image that is represented in the social news reporting is able to reflect the social problems more effectively to some extent.In this paper the female image is analyzed under the research hypothesis: the female image which is represented in Dahe Paper can't reflect the status of female objectively and during the figuring process of the female image, the "Stereotype" do exist. What's more, this paper is going to answer that what kind of female image in the social-news of "Dahe paper" is and how the image is constructed.Through the analysis, not only the hypothesis is proved to be true, but also make a general picture of what kind of female image that Dahe Paper presents is, figure out what influence of such a kind image has and give some constructive suggestions to correct it, in order to appeal mass media to use the feminist's perspective to report female status objectively, and consider the female as active strength of our society.
