Parlay API is the main API now. Parlay/OSA inherits the soul of intelligent network and highly abstracts the ability of the bottom network.Parlay/OSA system is made up of Parlay Gateway and Parlay application and a series of standard interface called the Parlay API.Parlay Gateway can shield the complexity of the bottom network. Parlay application is a client and can communicate with Parlay Gateway by Parlay API, which is responsibility for the realization of service logic. It can use the bottom network resource and carry out new services with great efficiency.Firstly, this dissertation compares the traditional network, intelli- gent network with the opening API, describes the Parlay/OSA system and relative advantage. Then it mainly refers to the soft switch platform on which the Parlay is. The platform is the core of call control in NGN.The dissertation emphasizes on the flow of the research for add-value service and the method of service research. Based on the requirement of Ling tong service, the whole process of design and realization for service is given using UI and GCC in detail. The dissertation explicates the flow of the call control and the user interaction for Ling tong service.The test measure and test result for this service is introduced at the back of the paper.At last,there is a summarization and expectation.This fire-new service plat- form is adopted the Parlay API,which can be opened to developers of third party.It introduces a sort of valid approach for develop the synthetically add-value telegraphic service simply, rapidly, flexibly.
