Analysis Of The Right Of The News Media In China, From A Legal Point Of View

Currently, a good many problems exist in news communication, which result from lack of corresponding law. So it is necessary to make the press law. The fundamental purpose of legislation for the press is not only for ensuring the public to understand the truth from the media, but also protecting the media to enjoy the right to know and the right to interview. At the same time, the law can restrict the media to abuse the right.To offer information for the public is the value of the media to exist. The legalization for the press is the only way for the media to exercise its news communication function healthily and normally. Research in the press law derived from news tort that is just the idea related to the press law and all the same that is connected with traditional legal relations of the civil. As an independent law for the press, the law should have independent legal relationship. The present research in press legal system is short of research in the right and obligation of the media.In the paper, the first thing for the legislation for the press is to establish the right of the media definitely in order to protect the media to exercise its news communication function and offer information to the society. The press freedom, as the guiding principle, should be established and foster the idea of exercising the news right legally.
