Lon Network-based Applications

Field bus is a kind of communication networks, which is used in automatic related fields, i.e. Manufactory Automation, Process Automation, Building Automation, and so on. As one of the new-type field bus, the Lonworks network is more openness, maneuverability, seamless integration with Internet, utility compiler environment, it could be provided settle scheme of end to end, widely used in our contry.Using field bus in monitor system, three most important factors should be concerned, reliability, and augment ability and communication speed. The paper introduced the Lonworks technology, the application of neuron chip, and Lontalk protocol. We designed a network adaptor between lonworks network and computer based on Lonworks. which could increase the rate of data transport. We present the scheme of monitor system, completed the design of hardware and software. The monitor system was used to solve some problems of reality application, this system include the functions of real-time recording data, real-time processing data, analyzing and processing historical data. At last, analyzing and prospecting the application of Lonworks network, presenting some suggestion.
