The Impact Of FDI On The Import And Export Trade Of China 's Electronic Information Industry

Since the reform and opening-up, foreign direct investment activities play a pivotal role in the process of Chinese economic and trade development. The improvement of trade structure and increase of total foreign trade amount in China has a close relationship with foreign direct investment (FDI) to it.The scope of this study limits on the impact of FDI on China’s foreign trade based on the analysis of its impact on import and export of electronic information industry in China to give a depth analysis between the FDI and the foreign trade of China. Firstly, this paper gives a brief introduction of the theory related to FDI and the present impact of FDI on volume and structure of foreign trade in China. Then, it puts focus on the relationship between FDI and the development of foreign trade in electronic information industry of China which has been taken as the representative industry and the action mechanism of the impact from FDI on it through statistical analysis of large amounts of data and charts. Finally, it gives a conclusion and puts forward to some constructive suggestions and policy recommendations.
