With the reform of major state-owned enterprises further deepening, more and more enterprise schools are being stripped from the enterprises they are attached to. These schools' joining has inevitably changed the former education structure of local government. In order to make full use of all educational resources, local government has to redesign and regulate the previous structure. School merging is one of the common regulating approaches. The school merging may take place between enterprise schools, between state schools or between enterprise schools and state schools. This thesis focuses on analysing the problems and strategies related to the merged school from enterprise school and local state school. This thesis consists of six sections: Section one, the foreword, mainly introduces the significance of my research, the basic concepts, the key points being probed, the basic research methods and the summary of the achievements in this field. Section two introduces the background of merging enterprise schools and the schools run by local government, mainly stating that it's a historical trend to merge these two types of schools. In section three varieties of problems arising in the merged school are revealed. Section four probes the causes of the contradictions from the points of view of economy, group culture, merging policies, etc. In section five several strategies are raised for school leaders to solve the knotty problems. Section six focuses on some suggestions for the education department to make sure of the stability and development of the new school.
