Xi'an Community Health Services Research

Community health service was promoted by developed countries in 1940s or 1950s, which is a basic medical pattern in modern society. It supplies general medical service, which is different from hospital's specialization and complementary with it. Community health service is the best way to solve the problem "see a doctor difficult and expensive". Also, it is significant to medical reform and sustainable development of public health. In recent years, government paid an important attention to community health services, which made urban community health services have a fast development.Based on health economics and public economics, this paper researches the demand of Xi'an by doing questionnaire. Also, it researches the supply condition of community health service. Then, this paper summarized the obstacles, and gives some suggestions to the development of community health service.The first chapter is introduction, mainly introduces the background of the research, the meaning of research and methods. The second chapter is the theory in community health service research. The third chapter introduces the reality of Xi'an community health service, from two aspects----citizen's demand the community health services' supply. The fourth chapter summarizes the problems in development and probes the reasons behind it. The last chapter gives out some suggestions for community health service.This paper shows, government should play the leading role in the development of community health service. Also, community health service should try to perfect its function and get more trust from people.
