Constitution is a personal life "symbol" which is formed in the innate endowments and acquired under the influence of environmental factors. Con-stitution remains relative stability in shape, tructure, function, metabolism, while at the same time has a certain range of adjustability. Physical state of the constitution plays an important role in the development of an individ-ual disease.Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses on the principle of the ind-ividual in line with "the person system", changing variables that affect the constitution of the individual to take appropriate individual therapy, playing an active role in disease prevention, progress of disease and rehabilitation and to realize "preventive treatment of disease" in order to contribute to the human health.ObjectiveTo separately analyze the correlation of Lopsided Constitutions and Bod-y Mass Index, the relevance of Lopsided Constitutions and sub-health. Study-ing whether Body Mass Index is risk factor of the Lopsided Constitutions, the relevance of Lopsided Constitutions and sub-health.The study is based on the the crowd medical health investing and survey content.The purpose is to provide reasonable foundation for future health care, disease prevention and rehabilitation.MethodTo Investigate treating disease physical examination center data ranging from December 31,2007-December 31,2008 of Traditional Chinese Medicin-e Hospital subordinated Capital Medical University Beijing. Selected groups will be classified according to the China Association of Traditional Chines-e Medicine "Traditional Chinese Constitution Classification and Judging" To calculate Body Mass Index following the measured data. To assess group-s health status according to Professor Wang Qi-led research's outcome "sub-health screening form" of the medical assessment. Using computer statistica-1 software SPSS 15.0, Count data were analyzed by X2 test. Correlation ana-lysis and Logistic regression analysis, Measurement data were described by mean±standard deviation and analyzed by T test.P<0.05 indicates statistic-ally significant differences,P>0.05 indicates no statistically significant differe-nce.Result1. Research On the Correlation Between BMI of Healthy Population And L-opsided Constitutions Basing On Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1.1 The crowd is divided into nine types Constitution, the number of Peace constitution is removed,51 in 624 cases are qi-deficiency-lopsided-constitut ion (Accounting for 8.17%by the surveyed,The following representations ha-ve the same meaning); yang-deficiency-lopsided-constitution 247 cases (39. 58%);yin-deficiency-lopsided-constitution 149 cases (23.88%);phlegm-damp-lopsided-constitution 182 cases (29.17%);damp-heat-lopsided-constitution 145 cases (23.24%);blood-stasis-lopsided-constitution 167 cases (26.76%);qi-st-agnation-lopsided-constitution 172 cases (27.56%);special-intrinsic-lopsided-constitution 62 cases (9.94%).Average BMI is 22.36±4.96.1.2 BMI values of yang-deficiency,blood-stasis,qi-stagnation constitutions is higher than non-yang-deficiency,non-blood-stasis,non-qi-stagnation consti-tutions, the test has statistically significant difference (P<0.05); BMI is po-s itively correlated with yang-deficiency,blood-stasis,qi-stagnation constituti-o ns, the test has statistically significant difference (P<0.05); Body Mass Index is risk factor of these three Lopsided Constitutions, the test has statis-tically significant difference (P<0.05).2. Research On the Correlation Between Chinese constitution Classification and sub-health.2.1 The crowd is divided into nine types Constitution, the number of Peace constitution is removed,111 in 671 cases are qi-deficiency constitutions (Ac-counting for 16.54%by the surveyed,The following representations have the same meaning); yang-deficiency-lopsided-constitution 107 cases (15.95%); yin-deficiency-lopsided-constitution 247 cases (36.81%); phlegm-damp-lopsi-ded-constitution 280 cases (41.73%); damp-heat-lopsided-constitution 233 cases (34.72%);blood-stasis 242 cases (36.07%);qi-stagnation 233 cases (3 4.72%); special-intrinsic-lopsided-constitution 93 cases (13.86%).The num-ber of sub-health is 112 cases, occupied 16.69%in the total number.2.2 Constituent ratio of sub-health state in yin-deficiency and non-yin-defic iency constitution,damp-heat and non-damp-heat constitution blood-stasis and non-blood-stasis constitution, qi-stagnation and non-qi-stagnation constitu-tion is tested to have statistically significant differences (P< 0.05)2.3 Ruling out confounding factors among different constitutions, qi-deficien-cy,damp-heat,qi-stagnation constitutions are dangerous ones which will eas-ily develop into sub-health state.ConclusionThe study used diverse statistical methods and separately research into the Correlation Between BMI of Healthy Population And Lopsided Constitut-ions Basing On Traditional Chinese Medicine and Correlation Between Chi- nese constitution Classification sub-health,the study can provide the followi-ng basis for The field of constitutions,rehabilitation of health, and disease nursing.1.Average BMI values of yang-deficiency. blood-stasis,qi-stagnation constitutions is higher than non-yang-deficiency. non-blood-stasis,non-qi-sta-gnation constitutions, The formation of three biased constitutions are correlat-ed with Body Mass Index. Higher Body Mass Index is risk factor for the formation of yang-deficiency. blood-stasis,qi-stagnation constitutions, Weig-ht control has a positive meaning in preventing the formation of three Lop-sided Constitutions.2. The number of sub-health is different in the distribution of Different Lop sided Constitutions.3. qi-deficiency,damp-heat. qi-stagnation constitutions are independent risk factors in the formation of sub-health state, To adjust the bias of these thre-e constitutions will be expected to improve quality of life and modificate health status.
