Children With Asthma Constitution Of Tcm Clinical Research

Objective: By researching the types of constitution in traditional chinese medicine (TCM) of asthmatic children, analyze the distri- bution rule of constitution types, so as to intervene and regulate the constitution by TCM and achieve the fundamental control asthma in children to provide scientific basis for the clinical.Methods: Made questionnaire of TCM constitution characteristics, and asked 640 cases remission's asthmatic children in their informed consent's situation, including the items of age, course of disease, individual allergic history,family allergic history, physique, sweat,diet,feces,as well as texture of tongue,tongue fur, and so on, used the method of the frequency analysis to research the cons- titution characteristics of TCM.Results: Preschool children with asthma were more, accounting for 53.59%; the common clinical performance of asthmatic children in the former eight, in order, were physique fat(36.72%),spontaneous perspiration(32.50%),poor appetite(25.63%),dry feces(21.25%),en- larged tongue(18.91%),greasy fur(18.28%),night sweat(17.97%),fev- erish palms and soles(16.56%);constitution in the top three types were tebing quality (62.03%), qixu quality (45.00%), tanshi quality (36.09%); asthma with recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRTI) of children located in the type of qixu quality; tebing quality of children allergic diseases in descending order of frequency were eczema (50.88%), allergic rhinitis (35.52%), urticaria (17.38%), drugs or(and) food allergy (10.83%);tebing quality in children with family allergic disease of a total of 276 cases, accounting for 65.52% of the children, in descending order of frequency were: allergic rhinitis (42.39%), asthma (32.25%), urticaria (25.72%), eczema(15.94%).Conclusions: In this group the Multi-age of childhood asthma was preschool,school-age lower somewhat; Except tebing quality, perfor- mance of qixu quality ,tanshi quality such as physique fat, spont- aneous perspiration, poor appetite, enlarged tongue, greasy fur were more frequency; Most pathological constitution of 640 cases asth- matic children were,tebing quality,qixu quality,tanshi quality, pinghe quality were rarely; tebing quality of the asthmatic children suffering from allergic diseases in descending sequence were eczema, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, drugs or(and) food allergy; tebing quality of family allergic disease about children with asthma in descending sequence were allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, eczema.
