Beijing Suburban Districts And Counties In Rural Areas Of Drug Safety Regulatory Issues

To build a socialist harmonious society in the contemporary China, drug safety and effectiveness is a growing cause for concern. Drug safety is an important social issue of public safety, directly related to people's health and life safety, therefore the monitoring of drug safety regulation fields become an important social issue.The paper made the city of Beijing outer suburban district as a drug safety control study. The paper based as drug safety control, information, and supervision data of five suburbs district of Beijing through 2001-2008. It researched into status and problems during the course of drug market in the rural areas of Beijing, and some policy implications were suggested according above analysis.In this paper, based on the results of data analysis, using interviews, document analysis, discussed at this stage the issue of drug safety monitoring, as well as the source of trouble. I believed that the main problems were the issue of drug safety regulation, legal unsound of supervision to drug use units, lack of interoperability; not good supply practice of relevant laws and regulations of drug-related units in rural areas. "Liang yuan" (drug supervision, drug supervision and information member) were difficult to play their role in rural drug supervision; employees in low quality, etc.In this paper, based on drug safety in rural areas on the basis of the supervisor, from Western developed countries (regions) of the drug safety supervision and management of successful experience and lessons learned. The paper proposed in the regulatory framework for drug safety in rural areas gradually establish a scientific norms in rural medicine supply network; Intensify tracking management to drug retailers, Set up long-term regulatory mechanism; Optimize human resources of drug safety supervision strengthen the drug safety publicity work in rural areas; Improve the protection awareness of the broad masses of peasants. The paper will solve the practical problems of drug safety supervision in rural areas, at the same time; it can play a useful reference for the drug regulatory decision-making in rural areas of Beijing.
