Doctor-patient relationship, a key in interpersonal relationships among medical society, is the relationship between medical staffs and patients that occurs during the medical process. In recent years, with the changes of social environment and people's philosophy, China's doctor-patient relationship has become increasingly tense. Disputes and conflicts between doctors and patients have become a hot issue in China's medical profession and even the whole society. Through actual investigations, I start with analyzing the cause of tense doctor-patient relationship and find out six reasons that may have caused such relationship. I then study the impact of landslide in medical ethics on the tension between doctors and patients from the perspective of medical workers and education administrators. I conclude that lack of ethics education is one of the main causes for the weakening medical ethics. I investigate the current education in China's secondary health professional schools, especially that on medical ethics topics. Based on my professional experience of more than a decade as well as my two year's theoretical and empirical study on the issue, I propose the following new ideas and initiatives to improve the ethics education in secondary health professional schools. 1. Focus on"Three Items"education; 2. Construct a"Five Heart"project; 3. Implement"Full Duplex"educational concept; 4. Introduce a "Tiered Progressive Education" method.
