Positive staining of OPN was localized in cytolemma and cytoplasm. MMP-9 was found in basal cell layer, preckel cell layer andstratum granulosum of cholesteatoma epithelium and stromal cell.Positive staining of MMP-9 was localized in cytoplasm. The positive expression of OPN and MMP-9 in middle ear cholestoma were markedly higher than that in normal external acoustic meatus skin, P values less than 0.05 were considered singifienat ( P<0.05 ) .Statistical analysis showed that there was significantly positively related to the expression of OPN and MMP-9 in middle ear cholesteatoma.Conclusion:1.The expression of OPN and MMP-9 in middle ear cholesteatoma are significantly higher than that in normal external acoustic meatus skin. OPN and MMP-9 have a positive correlation in their expression.2. OPN and MMP-9 are relate to the destruction of bone in middle ear cholesteatoma.3. The study may provide a new auxiliary way for the therapy of middle ear cholesteatoma. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | middle ear cholesteatoma, osteopontin, matrix metalloproteinase | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
