Chengdu City Children With Functional Constipation Epidemiological Investigation And Multivariate Analysis

Objective: Investigate the incidence rate of children functionalconstipation(FC)in Chengdu city, to find the defecate habit and thefeature of epidemiology and cause of FC.Methods: With stratified cluster sampling and multi-factor analysingmethod,A questionnaire survey was conducted and the investigatorquestioned the children's parents or teachers.Those who was diagnosed ofFC would be examined by investigator according to the clinical form.Result: Among 1132 chilrens aged from 2-7 years, 1044 (92.23%) ofthe interviewees defecated formed and half formed soft stool 3 to 10times per week; 54 (4.77%) childrens was diagnosed of FC and theincidence rate of female is higher than that of male and theproportionment of sex is 1.1:1.Conclusion: The constipation is common symptom in children and it'scausation maybe associate with the meal configuration and the badnessdefecate habit.it will bring some badness influence to the children's livequality.
