The Impact Of The Tianshu Different Acupoints On The Protective Effect Of The Intestinal Mucosa Of Ulcerative Colitis In Rats And Immune Function

Purpose: To study the cooperative effect of electro-acupuncture ( EA ) Tianshu, Zhongwan and Shangjuxu on ulcerative colitis in rats induced by acetic acid ( AA ) and the average level of the Thyms coefficient, Adrenal gland coefficients SOD, MDA, NO, IL-2 and TNF-a before or acupuncture.To find a best prescription.Methods: The experiment was carried out on wistar rats which were randomly divided into six group with different condition :group A(normal group); group B(control group);group C(EA "Tianshu" point); group D(EA"Tianshu" and "zhongwan" points); group E(EA "Tianshu" and "shangjuxu" points); group F ( EA "Tianshu", "zhongwan" and "shangjuxu" points )o At the same time, the Thymus coefficient, Adrenal gland coefficient, SOD , MDA, NO, IL-2 and TNF-a level were explored.Result: Compared with control group,MDA and.NO of each EA group was significantly decreaed when SOD and IL-2 was increased, TNF-a wascomparatively decreased. At the same time, it was found that group F was the most effective one among all of EA groups.ConclusiomThe protective effect of EA Tianshu with different prescription is definite, and the group of EA "Tianshu", "Zhongwan" and"Shangjuxu" points is the most effective one.lt suggests that there is cooperation among these there points.
