Self-curing Knife Combined With Clinical Research Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Uterine Fibroids

Objective: To assess the clinical effects of radiofrequency ablation knife(RFAK) unite Chinese traditional medicine(CTM) on uterine leiomyoms,and acquaint ourselves with the effects and safty of RFAK and compare the advantage and disadvantage between tow group.Design: Thirty cases of uterine leiomyoma patients were divided into tow group at random,eighteen cases was treated by RFAK and twelve cases by RFAK unite CTM.A11 of them were followed up six months,ultrasound imaging and clinical evaluation were obtained preoperatively and at one,three months.Results: In RFAK unite CTM group ,the total effective was 91.67% and superior to the RFAK group(66.67%),by statistics tested had marked difference, P <0.05,1. Comparing the difference of clinical symptom between two groups after three months :menorrhagia, P <0.05; localized pain,P < 0.05, pelvic pressure P < 0.001.2.Comparing the difference of volume of uterine leiomyms between two groups after one,three months:P>0.05 on one month,P < 0.05 on three months, the RFAK unite CTM group was superior to the RFAK group. 3.Comparing the difference of recrudesce and side-effect between two groups P>0.054. Comparing the diference of clinical effect between two groups after three months P < 0. 05.Conclusions:1. RFAK was an effective and satisfactory method for the treament of urerine leiomyoma.2. The clinical effects of RFAK was not distinct after one month,but was after three month.3.The clinical effects of RFAK unite CTM group had more advantages than RFAK group.
