Shenqidihuang Tang Decoction Of Taohongsiwu Early Diabetic Nephropathy 65 Cases Of Clinical Observation

Diabetic nephropathy is a kind of diabetic glomerulosclerosis, caused by a series of disorganized metabolism and blood dynamic changes which are induced by chronic high blood sugar. It is one of diabetic complications of systemic tiny blood vessel and it is a characteristic complication of DM. Once the patients of DN are with continuous urinary protein,the state of their illness is seldom recovered and is often worsened rapidly to CRF,so it is very important to treat incipient DN by an active and effective method and control the state of DN.The aetiology and pathogenesis of DN in western medicine is poorly understood, and there is no significant breakthrough on therapy. Recently,magnitude progress in study on prevention and treatment of incipient DN in traditional Chinese medicine have been maken.The findings show that "Qi,Yin"deficiency and blood stasis is the most common symptom and sign in incipient DN,and that effect of "Yiqi Yangyin Huoxue Huayu"prescription on incipient DN is better.Ohjective:To investigate the clinical effect of ShenQi DiHuang Decoction & TaoHong SiWu Decoction treating incipient DN,so as to discuss out the treating mechanism of ShenQi DiHuang Decoction & TaoHong SiWu Decoction treating this disease,exploring the advantage and feasibility in combination therapy with traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine.Method:Sixty-five incipient DN patients with symptom and sign of "Qi,Yin"deficiency and blood stasis,were randomly divided into two groups.Based on the treatment with western medicine,the treatment group (33 patients) were treated with ShenQi DiHuang Decoction & TaoHong SiWu Decoction.The control group (32 patients) were treated with western medicine alone.Two months was regarded as one course.Parameters of fasting blood sugar,blood lipids,hemorrheology level,24 hours urinary albumin excretion and urine β 2-microglobulin were observed,measured,and then compared after and before treatment in two groups.Rcsults:The effective rate of the treatment group was 84.84%,and that of the control group was 62.50%.By contrasting the two groups,there was an remarkable discrepancy(p<0.05).Additionally indices of fasting blood sugur,blood lipids, hemorrheology levels,24 hours urinary albumin excretion and urine P 2-microglobulin were obviously ameliorated in the treatment group.While in the control group,most of the above indices didn't change remarkably. ConcIusions:Using ShenQi DiHuang Decoction & TaoHong SiWu Decoction to treat incipient DN has exact effect.The curative effect of TCM-WM was better than that of western medicine alone in treating incipient DN.The treating mechanism of ShenQi DiHuang Decoction & TaoHong SiWu Decoction maybe work through decreasing blood sugar;inhibiting the activity of aldose reductase,decreasing blood lipids,improving hemorrheology level and microcirculation.
