Postgraduate: Qian KejianDirector: Zhao WeiluObjective To study effect of high frequency jet ventilation combined with liquid ventilation on inhalation injury. Methods 16 dogs with inhalation injury from steam were divided into control group and treatment group at random. Both groups were given high frequency jet ventilation after injury, and treatment group were simultaneously injected with perfluorocarboii liquid (3m1/kg) into lungs slowly Blood gas, lung dynamics and hemodynamics were examined at different time sited within9O minutes. Results Pa02 in the treatment group is higher than that in the same group at 2h after injured But there is no difference of the Pa02 between two groups (p>O.05) There is no statistical significance in dynamic/static lung compliance and hemodynamics between two group. Conclusion High frequency jet ventilation combined with low volume perfluorocarbon liquid ventilation (3mlIkg)can slightly improve oxygenation ,lung compliance without impairing hemodynamics.
