ObjectiveThrough investigation, understand the army in shanxi grassroots officers and soldiers of the psychologically healthy and individuality characteristic present situation and existence question. Request to be tried independence to fill in a questionnaire.The questionnaire took back at that time.The investigation content includes:The general circumstance investigates form.Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ), Depression self rating scale, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, Social support questionnaire and a self-made questionnaire of general information.Uses the SPSS 13.0 software establishment database and carries on statistics processing.Results1. This survey of mental health status:(1)The total detection rate of mental health problem is 7.22%. There were 16 persons with equal to or more than there point (4.2%). The main problems were body symptom, obsession, interpersonal relationship, and the factors such as hostilities. The scores of all sub-scales and the total of SCL-90 were significantly lower in our subjects than those of Chinese army men and the internal usual fellows(P<0.01). (2) Different groups and soldiers SCL-90 each factor score comparison shows:The results showed that relative to the soldiers, the officers had a statistically significantly high score in obsession, depression, hostility and paranoia factor. Except for the psychosis factor, all other scores in the married group were significantly higher than those in the unmarried group. The scores of obsession, interpersonal relationship, phobia factor in soldiers from single-child family were higher than those in soldiers from two or more-children family. The scores in obsession, interpersonal relationship, paranoia and the total score of subjects graduated from university were significantly higher than those of subjects graduated from senor high school. The scores in obsession, interpersonal relationship, paranoia and the total score of subjects graduated from university were significantly higher than those of the subjects graduated from junior high school(P< 0.05 or P<0.01).The scores of obsession, interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobia and the total score in the city group were significantly higher than those in the group of county, township and village(P< 0.05). The scores of the little creatures in obsession, interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, paranoia and the total score were significantly higher than those of the artillery group and the infantry group, but the scores of Tank corps group in anxiety, phobia and paranoia were significantly higher than those of the artillery group and the infantry group(P< 0.05 or P< 0.01).2. Personality characteristic:(1) Mental quality (P) score, neurotic(N)score and hide (L) score of EPQ in grassroots officers and soldiers were significantly lower than the norms of Chinese army men (P< 0.01).(2) Different groups of officers and soldiers EPQ the dimension scores comparison:Recruits group in EPQ questionnaires, in E dimensions of veterans group were significantly higher in P, the veteran group were significantly higher dimensions of recruits group (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01), Married group in N were significantly higher dimensions of unmarried group(P< 0.05). University group and in want of E EPQ questionnaire were significantly higher dimensions of the middle school (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01), want in P were significantly higher dimensions of the middle school (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01). The middle school in L were significantly higher dimensions of university group (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01). Infantry group in the E EPQ questionnaire were significantly higher dimensions of tank corps group (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01). Family economic situation in the medium group E EPQ questionnaire were significantly higher dimensions of family economy situation difference groups (P< 0.05). The family economic situation medium group and lower-middle group in N dimension scores significantly below the family economic situation difference groups (P< 0.05). The family economic situation very well in P group were significantly higher dimensions of family economy middle-upper group,medium group and lower-middle group (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01). The family economic situation in L lower group were significantly higher dimensions of family economy situation very well group (P< 0.01).3. Multiariate analysis results indicate:(1) The effects of neurotic, extraversion, psychoticism, negative coping styles and utilization of social support on the total score of SCL-90 were statistically significant. While SCL-90 and the total score is positively correlated with family economic situation. The mental health of officers was below the cadre of soldiers. Next, the poor family economic situation of SCL-90 total score significantly higher economic situation and good middle-upper. (2) Influence of individuality characteristic E dimensions the factors:The mental health level and social support exploitation degree and objective and to support the positive coping styles. Influence of individuality characteristic N dimensions the factors:The mental health level, social support exploitation degree, positive coping styles and negative coping styles and marriage or not.
