In the last few years, supply chain management(SCM) has been touted as one of the major strategies to improve organizational performance and generate competitive advantage. SCM is therefore a key for the firms to achieve multi-company co-operation across traditional mortar and brick enterprises and enables them to pursue and share opportunities in the dynamic marketplace. With the development of supply-chain management theory, studies on information risk in supply chains have become more important. Information risk inevitably emerge because of asymmetric information and incomplete information among enterprises in SCM environment. Therefore, research of the formation mechanism of information risk in SCM and strategies to resolve it are a very important task.This dissertation elaborates information risk in SCM resulted from the process of information transferring and principal-agent theory, and the formation mechanisms of information risk in supply chain was analyzed from the views of management science, economic and system theories. According to these mechanisms, this dissertation bring forward three correspondent countermeasures against information risk in SCM: information sharing, establishing effective encouragement and restriction mechanism, improving the mode of information sharing. Then, these strategies will be respectively researched.Above all, this article analyzes quantificationally to prove information sharing can eliminate information risk in SCM resulted from the process of information transferring, and presents a game analysis on this issue under incentive mechanism or without.
