SCM(Supply chain management) attracts extensive attention as a modern enterprise management mode suitable for variable market. Information sharing in a supply chain is an important section in SCM, full information sharing is the key factor of a successful supply chain. Information sharing can assist SCM to increase channel transparency, make cooperative action reality, bring more profit to feed all partners on the whole chain. Therefore, it is necessary that further study on information sharing problems in supply chains improves the SCM efficiency in our country.Based on the discussions about the status of SCM, the paper discusses the information sharing issue in SCM. This paper analyze the value of information sharing in a supply chain using of the fix quantify ways and the related factors affecting, the main study is the value of sharing demand information in a manufacturer and a retailer, and the value of sharing producing capacity information of manufacturer in two manufacturers and one retailer. After analyzing the value of information sharing to supply chain, this paper analyze a two stage principal-agent model to research the coordination incentive problem on manufacturer's and retailers'effort level of information sharing, and give the optimal incentive and affect factor. At last, this paper analyze technical support system for realizing information sharing, and mainly analyze how to realize information sharing using EDI technical and Intranet/Internet technical.
