Research And Application Of Expert System Development Based On Jess

With the increasing pressure of learning and employment , the psychological problems of college students are more and more serious .On the one hand the number of guidance counselors are limited; On the other hand many students unwilling to ask Guidance counselor. Currently computer network technology and application are highly developed, so designing a Web-based psychological test system would be very helpful. Therefore, this paper is to study a method to use JESS to develop expert system.JESS (Java Expert System Shell) is expert system development tool based on the design of Clips(C Language Integrated Production System), which can combine with Java very well. According to the MVC2 model, develop a Web-based expert system by using JESS (Java Expert System Shell ), have strongly Portability and extensibility, reasoning efficiency. This paper compares the existing domestic with foreign expert systems of psychological testing. Study using JESS to develop Web mode expert system method,and JESS expert system development tool used in psychological test system model in the realization.It introduces the technology of JSP, Servlet, Struts and MVC2. Expert system devoloping technology by JESS, and then focus on interaction of Struts, Java and JESS. Under the framework of MVC2 ,this paper gives a method to build the Web-based expert system model by using the developing tool of expert system JESS ,Java programming language, Struts, Myeclipse, Tomcat and Mysql,and finally design and complete a psychological test system model for university students .This paper uses JESS and Web technologys to design a psychological test system model for university students, and the normal operation of the system proved the feasibility of this method.
