Clinical Research Of Treating Primary Osteoporosis By Applying The Method Of Bus Hen Tong Luo

Objectives:To observe the clinical effects in treating primary osteoporosis caused by renal essence insufficiency, blood stasis with the method of bu shen tong luo.Methods:This research was based on 40 cases of outpatients with renal essence insufficiency, blood stasis from the clinic of the hospital attributed to TCM of Jiangsu province. They were randomly divided into two groups. One group was the treatment group,20 patients of which were treated with basic therapy+health bone pills. The other group was the control group, with 20 patients being treated with basic therapy+Alendronate sodium. These patients all met the TCM diagnosis criterion. Both groups were treated for three months. Clinical symptoms' changes before and after treatment were detected respectively to evaluate the therapeutic effects.Results:After one course of treatment, significant difference was apparent in the clinical effects:In the treatment group,6 cases significantly improved and 13 cases improved, 1 ineffectual cases. The total effective rate in the treatment group is 95%.In the control group 2 cases significantly improved and 16 cases improved,2 ineffectual cases. The total effective rate in the control group is 90%.There was statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment group and control group (P<0.01).The effective rate from the treatment group is clearly superior.Conclusions:Above all, health bone pills appears to have the significant effect in the treatment of primary osteoporosis caused by renal essence insufficiency, blood stasis.
