Objective: To investigate the level of nursing students self-efficacy and coping style of the status; To analyse the factors of nursing students'self-efficacy, coping styles, To explore the relationship between self-efficacy, coping style and skills test scores; to explore the contribution and the role of direction on various factors of nursing students'self-efficacy, coping style and skills examination results. Methods: This study used cluster sampling method to survey the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine 2005, 82 nursing students. Application of questionnaires, survey instruments, including: personal information questionnaire, self-efficacy scale, coping style scale. SPSS13.0 survey data into analysis software, using frequency analysis, mean, standard deviation, descriptive statistical analysis and t-test, ANOVA,χ2test, Pearson correlation analysis, Spearman correlation analysis, multiple linear stepwise regression analysis, Logistic regression analysis, test points (score test), likelihood ratio test (likelihood ratio test), Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of fit testing, and inferential statistical analysis. Results: (1) Nursing students self-efficacy score (2.78±0.50) points lower than the international norm, active coping score (2.09±0.49) points higher than the national norm score of negative coping (0.91±0.44) points lower than the national norm.(2) The cause of undergraduate nursing students with the love of self-efficacy higher than Undergraduate students and students who do not love the nursing profession. Undergraduate students with child active coping style scores than Undergraduate students and non-child. Students from the city in a positive manner in response to higher scores than students from urban and rural areas; students from rural areas in negative coping style scored higher than students from cities and towns.(3) The impact of nursing students self-efficacy factors: active coping style, whether for the Undergraduate Student. Influence the way nursing students to actively respond to factors: self-efficacy, whether child. Influence the way nursing students cope with negative factors: the Source Place.(4) Nursing students self-efficacy and active coping style was significantly positively correlated (γ= 0.55, P <0.01). Undergraduate nursing skills test scores and self-efficacy, active coping style was significantly positively correlated (γ= 0.64, P <0.01 andγ= 0.57, P <0.01).(5) Byα= 0.05 was selected into the standard,α= 0.1 to remove a standard stepwise Logistic regression analysis results: independent variables into the regression equation for the self-efficacy(X1), active coping style(X2), love of nursing(X3). Regression model: p =exp(9.35+3.77×χ1+0.87×χ2+1.18×χ3)/1+exp(9.35+3.77×χ1+0.87×χ2+1.18×χ3)In which the statistical self-efficacy Waldχ2 largest for the 8.53, the largest contribution to the model. This study used a points test, likelihood ratio test, Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of fit test of the model overall, regression coefficient, goodness of fit, etc. test, the regression model is better. Logistic regression models correctly predict the percentage = 81.08%, sensitivity = 70%, specificity = 85.18%.Conclusions: The nursing students self-efficacy lower than the international norm, students use more positive coping styles. Undergraduate students in self-efficacy, active coping style is better than the students turned up. Students from the city in a positive coping better than students from urban and rural areas. Active coping style, whether Undergraduate student self-efficacy factor. Self-efficacy, if only child for the positive response of the factors. Enrollment for the negative response of the factors. Nursing students self-efficacy and positive coping styles were positively related. Undergraduate nursing skills test scores and self-efficacy, positive coping styles were positively related. Byα= 0.05 was selected into the standard,α= 0.1 to remove a standard stepwise Logistic regression analysis, independent variables into the regression equation for the self-efficacy, active coping style, love of nursing. Self-efficacy among the largest contribution to the model, after scoring test, likelihood ratio test, Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of fit test, regression model was well fitted, the correct prediction percentage of 81.08%, sensitivity 70%, specificity degree of 85.18%.
