A Research On The Sustainable Development Of Rural Ecotourism In Longhui County

Ecotourism is thought to be an important way of keeping the sustainable development of tourism. Ecotourism has provided a solution to environmental protection and resources distribution in tourism development by reducing the pressure of environment and balancing interests;it has realized profit-sharing and equality in a generation and between generations by maintaining landscape attractions and culture.In this respect, ecotourism is a good way to guarantee the sustainable utilization of tourist resources and the sustainable development of tourism. From the respects of its definition, connotation and classification,through the study of one of the most important types of ecotourism-rural ecotourism,by applying the theory of sustainable development, the paper puts forward the objects and the principles of the development of rural ecotourism and makes a systematic research on the sustainable development of rural ecotourism in Longhui county by summarizing the practice of rural tourism development and applying a multidisciplinary research. Therefore, the paper has great theory and potential practice significance.At first, the paper makes a systematic illustration of rural ecotourism and some related definitions and introduces the background of its appearance and its features. Then the paper makes an argument on the sustainable development of rural ecotourism and leads in its objects and principles. In addition, the paper provides some practical solutions to the problems in the development of rural eco-tourism. At last, by taking the county with rich tourist resources-Longhui county as an example,by means of on-site visits and statistics, the paper identifies the strategies which have been presented in the paper to keep the sustainable development of rural ecotourism resources, products, tourists and market.This paper employs the theory and analysis method of sustainable development to conduct a quantitative evaluation on the sustainable development of rural eco-tourism in Longhui County. In light of the hierarchical analysis method, the evaluation index system model on the sustainable development of Rural eco-tourism in Longhui County can be achieved.Basing on the method of hierarchical analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to calculate the sustainable development of the rural eco-tourism in Longhui County, and then some related reviews will be given regarding the received results. The results show that:(1)The evaluation results of Longhui County's tourism environment subsystem tend to be positove, and then it will come to be the general trend. (2) Natural resources is the material basis for the rural eco-tourism sustainable development. From evaluation results of the rural tourist resource subsystem of Longhui County, the abundance, the quality, and the scale of its resources are all consist with the requires of the rural eco-tourism sustainable development. (3)Abundant economic strength is a true guarantee for the sustainable development of rural eco-tourism. Results show that in recent years, with the help of the large-scale development of the western China, the local government of Longhui County attaches great importance to the development of the rural eco-tourism. Additionally, the changes of the travelers' lifestyle also accelerate the development of the local rural eco-tourism. (4) The results of the comprehensive evaluation regarding the sustainable development of rural eco-tourism are in the general state, which indicates that Longhui County, the development of rural eco-tourism have not truly implemented among the most of the local farmers. Finally, on the basis of the criterion level and the results of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of the four subsystems, the results can be obtained that the stat of the rural eco-tourism in Longhui County's is between the general and better, and moving towards the direction of the sustainability. Therefore, the strategies and initiatives concerning the sustainable development of the rural eco-tourism in Longhui County have been proposed.
