The Evaluation On The Comprehensive Efficiency Of Casuarina Coastal Shelterbelt In Guangdong Province

Guangdong Province is located on the southeast coast of China, suffering typhoons,storm surges and other natural disasters all the year, It is very important to strengthen the coastal shelterbelt system construction. Casuarina coastal shelterbelt is planted on the backbone as the main forest species in Guangdong Province, playing an important role in sand-fixing, improving ecological environment and so on. Guangdong Forestry Administration have organized the "Guangdong Province Coastal Shelterbelt Project Planning (2006 to 2015) " in 2006. The Casuarina Coastal Shelterbelt construction of Guangdong Province has made considerable achievements under the efficient capital investment and management, which attracted more attention by the community. Taking an a comprehensive evaluation to Casuarina Coastal shelterbelt could be protect and use of existing shelterbelt resources better,provid the scientific basis for long-term development and maximize the protective benefits.Combined with the function of Casuarina itself, this dissertation builts for an evaluation index system which suit for Casuarina coastal shelterbelt in Guangdong Province by the method of social survey Delphi method and multilevel analysis method, including sand-fixing efficiency, carbon sequestration and oxygen release efficiency, water conservation efficiency, and soil conservation efficiency, fertilizer conservation effectiveness, air purification efficiency, stumpage benefit on growth, investment-driven GDP growth of efficiency, disaster Prevention efficiency, employment opportunities efficiency and forest Eco-tourism benefits of 11 evaluation indicators. Combined with survey data, monitoring data of Guangdong Forestry Administration, and documentation of data, this paper estimates the comprehensive efficiency of Casuarina Coastal Shelterbelt of Guangdong Province, which are 2.17 billion every year, ecological benefits are 1.167 billion, economic value are 0.9 billion, and social value are 106 million. Ecological benefits of which the largest proportion was 53.68%, the effectiveness of sand-fixing accounted for 83%of ecological benefits in particular. To achieve its efficiency maximum. the writer summarizes the problems of Casuarina Coastal Protection in Guangdong Province, and proposes some measures from management techniques of the natural, reducing people's behavior of vandalism and proving the management and protection.
