Organizations are increasingly relying on work teams to address a variety of complex and difficult tasks, and the integration of the heterogeneous and complementary knowledge, skills and expertises existing on the teams become one of the main topics in team effectiveness research. Recently, as a mechanism that can explain how members of effective teams process information needed for solving problems, and how they apply what they know, transactive memory system(TMS) has been identified as an important factor to influence team performance.This paper chooses work teams as the sample, reviews correlative literatures, presents academic mode, and proposes hypothesis between variables, then through questionnaire survey, data callback, and SPSS researches the influence of team heterogeneity, conflicts, TMS on team effectiveness from the view of individual. The primary fruits and conclusions are as follows.(1)This research introduced the concept of TMS, studied the relationship between TMS and team, team conflict and team effectiveness, and found that Value heterogeneity has distinctive negative impact on team conflict, TMS and team effectiveness, Conflicts influenced TMS and team effectiveness positively, and TMS influenced team effectiveness significantly.(2)By multivariate regression analysis, we found that TMS acting as a total mediator. This reflected TMS's mediating role between team heterogeneity and team effectiveness: Members'value heterogeneity are the antecedents that influence team effectiveness through TMS.
