The Research On Division And Coordinated Development In Manufacturing Industry Of Large Metropolitan Area Of Yangtze River Delta From The Perspective Of Modularity

At present, the global economy is still in the process of industrialization, manufacturing is the dominant global economy. The large metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta is growing as the world's manufacturing center. We have seen the achievement of the large metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta, and we can't ignore a series of issues existed, especially the same structure of manufacturing, which relates to the problem of division and coordinated development of manufacturing. However, most studies focus on the present manufacturing development of the large metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta, measuring the manufacturing structure index and the lever of professionalism and the bottleneck of sustainable development of manufacturing. Studies focusing on the division pattern of industry and the way to achieving coordinated development is so few. Therefore, this paper makes great innovation to try to use modularity theory to solve the division of manufacturing and coordinated development of the large metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta.This paper can be divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, analyzing the significance of this paper, explaining the concepts related, the writing route, and so on. The second part mainly reviewed the theory of regional division of industry, the theory of modularity and the the present study status quo. The third part made research on the present development of manufacturing of the large metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta. Using the data from 1982 to 2006, this paper made regression analysis between manufacturing structure index and specialization index. And it came to the conclusion that there indeed exists an obvious negative correlation between manufacturing structure index and specialization index, and pointed the orientation of division of manufacturing. The fourth part started from the concept of modularized division of industry, analyzed the feasibility of modularized division of manufacturing of the large metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta, estabilished the modularized division system of manufacturing and made research on the process of manufacturing, based on the modularized division of manufacturing. The fifth part discussed the way to achieving the coordinated development of manufaturing of metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta.
