The author explains and also relates how her knowledge and experience could be applied in the actual working environments and improved costs effectiveness, and thus also improve the overall company's competitiveness. They are two main areas can be focusing on, firstly is to consociate those duplicated work area in different plants; this is because there are often similar work area are setting up in various plants and it increased the supply chain and many work are duplicated and therefore increase extra operating costs, the author will analyze how these duplicated work area can be merged into one common area. Another area the author focusing on is the freights cost as freights cost is always the bigger portion of the Transnational Corporations due to the frequent flow of physical materials, come to author mind the using of sea or air shipment is become the important area for decision making. By using a low cost and efficient shipping method will greatly reduce the operating costs. The author will further analyze based on the needs from different plants and work out a feasible way to adopt a best shipping method and further improve the flow of goods amongst the company.
