| Automobile is the pillar industry of our national economy. The consumption of resources and the pollution are considerable while the great economic benefit was brought out. As common developing mode, industry cluster is worth referring to domestic automobile industry. Combined with industry cluster, which is an advanced organization mode, the study on ecological improvement of domestic automobile industry has practical application value during the process of new industrialization. Considering the characteristics of automobile industry and coupling the theories of industry ecology and industry cluster, this article tries to represent the construction frame of automobile industry cluster which was then applied to Shanghai international automobile town, make suggestion to its ecological construction and get following conclusions:(1) Representing the ecological construction frame of the automobile industry cluster. When it comes to corporation, it means green design, green manufacture green physical distribution and forming a Lean Production mode under green supplying links. When referring to cluster, it means improving the ecological construction level of cluster by establishing the symbiosis net for corporations, constructing relative supporting institutes, cultivating the interactive and creative mechanism in cluster, and developing the tertiary industry of automobile properly.(2) After analyzing ecological construction of automobile industry in Shanghai international automobile town by using construction frame of ecological automobile clusters, the results showed that the constructions of automobile town on corporation and cluster level basically followed the ecologicalization principles and established a integrated the symbiosis net among corporations and relative institutes.
