Geology And Geochemistry Characters Study Of Guzhang Lannitian Manganese Deposit In West Hunan Province

Abstract:Guzhang muddy fields manganese beds deposit is hosted in the east of Huayuan-Guzhang manganese zone, which is in the north east side of Hunan, Chongqing and Guizhou manganese metallogenic, and southeastern margin of Yangzi ancient land. Guzhang Lannitian manganese deposit is a manganese carbonate deposit which output in black shales of Hunan manganese group.This paper explored the manganese mineralization environment and material source and summarized the conditions for the formation of the mineral deposit and their major signs mainly based on a large number of relevant information collection, and by the way of field investigation, rock samples collecting, combining indoor rock and mineral identification and test samples analysis. The research results are obtained as following:(1) By analyzing the numerical characteristics of LaN/NdN n DyN/SmN、δCe、δEu、∑REE、δCe、Sr and so on, and combining anomalies of LREE/HREE and Y, studies have shown that trace and rare earth elements maintain the original characteristics in the time of deposition, and the diagenesis and Late weathering have little effect on them.(2) The numerical characteristics of Ba, Zn content, U/Th、Y/Ho、 Ce/La、δCe and Cr-Ti、Cr-Rb of the sample also showed that the metal-rich element sediments in black shales and manganese deposits came from the normal deposition.(3) The Research on the correlation of. Mo、V、U、Mn content, V/(V+Ni)、V/Cr、U/Th、δU、δCe and Mn-Zn、Mn-Ni show that the manganese deposit formed when their environment is weak oxidizing environment(4)Summarize the Geological background of mineralization, depositional environment and mineral sources of the mineral deposit and infer that the black shale of Hunan manganese group and the ancient sedimentary environments of Limitations, half limitations sedimentary basins closed to erosion area and humid subtropical paleoclimate are the main prospecting mark of this type manganese deposits.
