Effects Of Digital Publishing To Cultural Construction In China And Measures Concerned

The Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China provides insight into promoting vigorous development and prosperity of socialist culture from four aspects. As the main force in culture development, Publishing plays an important role in inheriting, flourishing, and promoting Chinese culture. With the fast development of information technology, the traditional publishing gradually transforms to digital one. It is of high value to analyze how digital publishing promotes culture development and find the solutions to the problems in this process.Based on the foreign and domestic research on digital publishing, this article explained the relationship between publishing and cultural construction, and analyzed the positive and negative impacts the former have made on the latter through material dialects. The positive impacts include building and spreading socialism core value system, popularizing contemporary Chinese Marxism, and developing culture industry and information globalization, while the copyright problems, internet addiction, harmful culture, and foreign culture invasion are exemplifications of negative effects. With research method, the article proposed that establishing technical and legal monitoring platform, putting digital publishing into the priority list of press and publishing industry, insisting on people-oriented value orientation and pursuing equity and justice in harmonies culture and interactive between humanism and scientific and technological progress are the key points of making the best use of digital publishing.
