Sports, advocating health and fitness ,while the sports news is the main carrier of transmission of this beauty. This paper, enlightened by the study of sports-news recipients as well as sexual imbalance in sports-news reports, investigates the interaction between sports news and female audiences and the role and functionalities by sports media. We seek the in-depth reason why sports news show much less attraction to females compared to males, and hence propose strategies to improve appealing to females. In addition, the study of female audiences not only pertains to economic interests of media itself, but also non-discrimination amongst different genders. and take part of the sports for women audiences.This paper is divided into Tntroduction and the Theory. Introduction includes background and significance of this topics, research status and literature review, research method and framework of the article.The theory is divided into four parts.The first part is an overview, through the history and reality of the participation of women in sports , analysis the women's participation in sports which impact the women itself and the devolopment of the media, women's autonomy,to a certain extent promote the formation of the women audience in sports news.The second part ,first through the exercise physiology conclude the sports which women like and which are suitable for them. And then from the sports news of our mainstream sports media ,analysis their major sports project ,obtained that Chinese sports news report which presented the characteristics of the women image. This characteristic missing mainly reflect that the coverage which is lack of information and value for women audience impact on the two aspects.The third part is based on the absence of the female images in the Chinese sports news,in order to discuss the reality of the current women's access to sports news,through qualitative and quantitative empirical method.The reality is relative to the male audience , the smaller attractive to the female audience for the sports news .Then this paper attempts to explain the underlying causes of this smaller attractive through three aspects: social and cultural impact on the sports participateion of women; media reprduced sports news under the feminist perspective;audiences psychology of news.,not only analyze the presentation of the physiology point of view which women are foud and intend to get involved in that are lack in the main sports types reported. The fourth part is the strategy that how to attract female audience for sports news.This part pay attention to the application of the theory and practice, and focus on the integration of the current mainstream media.Respectively, from newspapers,television,Internet of their comparative advantages,with the sports news of Chinese contemporary examples,with a view to the sports media a specific reference in atrracting female audiences. Of course, this is also the study of the problem we want to solve.Only from the perspective of localization to study the relation between sports news and female audience, and therefore must exist some limitations in the depth, but some theories of learning are an international outlook.. For example, the analysis of the reasons of the smaller atrractiveness , is also the reference in the context of globalization economic exchange,. Of course, by the limitation of my ability and knowledge , this paper must be many defects and in urgent need of improving. But ultimately I still hope that sports news can atrract more female audience , and then take part in sports. This is also the reason why we try our best to seek the possible causes to atrract female audience in the final part of the paper.
