The Study Of Government Information Disclosure Services In Public Archives

In order to obtain more capacious room in the impetuously competitive society, it is a valid path that public archives provide government information disclosure services as an important department of information resource. Government information disclosure is the inevitable trend of democracy and requirement of building of law government,democratic government and service-oriented government. The implementation of Government Information Publicity indicates that China has entered lawfully legal times of administration. They are both opportunities and challenges for public archives as the statutory place of government information disclosure. Public archives have accepted the challenge bravely in order to expand public services,satisfy public demands and build open and folksy society image.Since the implementation of Government Information Publicity, we have achieved remarkable results by means of setting up government information center relying on public archives. We have not only extended the social function of public archives,shortened the distance between public archives and the general public,improved the social status but also satisfied the needs of accessing government information for public and respected the right-to-know, right-to-participate and right-to-supervise of the people. At the same time, because the government information disclosure services in the public archives is still in the exploratory phase, there are many difficulties such as social image,personnel structure,laws and regulations. In order to continuously improve the government information disclosure services, we need to make joint efforts, for example, improve laws and regulations about government information disclosure,enhance the publicity of government information disclosure services. Our target is to make the government information disclosure services more and more standardization and institutionalization through various channels.
