The Design And Implementation Of The Hospital Information System

Hospital Information System is the use of computer and communications equipment for all hospital departments to provide the ability of patient care information and administration information collection, storage, processing, extraction and data exchange, and to meet the functional requirements of all authorized users. It Closely Combines Hospital management and services in the various working links in accordance with the principle of system engineering and achieve the purpose of real-time sharing of information and standardize management. Most of the domestic hospitals are different levels of computer technology for hospital management. HIS products are developing from the original main mode of financial management as the center to the new management mode of patients as the center and medical information as the main line.Writing this paper during the period when China Rehabilitation Research Center is carrying out construction of digital hospital, the theme of this paper is about of hospital information system designed by the Center. The paper has some comprehensive introduction of the status of information construction and development, the whole process of hospital information system requirements, design, implementation and test validation. The paper describes some of the problems encountered and how to solve these problems in the whole process. There are some important understanding that developing an efficient, fast, useful hospital information system is a very difficult project, but also a vital link in the development of hospital.The hospital information system includes out-patient information system, in-patient information system, medical information system, laboratory information system, picture archiving and communication system, radiology information system, prescription automatic screening system, anesthesia information system, health check-information system, financial information system, decision support information system etc. The entire information system is designed by my colleagues and me. I mainly design and develop three parts of the information system in the out-patient registration, out-patient doctor workstation and laboratory information system.This hospital information system can ensure smooth communication of medical personnel and effective sharing of care information, support a variety of high-tech diagnostic equipment for more efficient collaboration and a variety of application systems for more concise management, ensure a further development of our center, climbing to new heights in the medical field and better service for the majority of patients.
