The Scheme Of Local Transmission Networks To Cope With 3G Operaton

Transmission networks, as the basic networks for all types of telecommunication business, are being constructed on a large scale. How to effectively, comprehensively and fully utilize the network resources and get the most output becomes the great concern in network construction and maintenance. Meanwhile, the transmission operators also put their emphasis on how to build the transmission networks with clearer network organization, richer supported businesses, more convenient maintenance for operations, more efficient opening of circuits, more reliable network services and smoother expansion and upgrade. Therefore, the significance of optimizing transmission networks is increasingly highlighted.In this paper, the major work done by the author is as follows:(1) Analyzing theoretically the current status and trend of local transmission networks of Tianjin Unicom in terms of the network nodes, cabling, topology, capacity, security, business needs and so on.(2) On the basis of theoretical analysis, collecting and analyzing the current status transmission networks, finding out their problems and hidden troubles.(3) According to the analytical result from the study, putting forward the personal opinions on the optimization of transmission networks and working out several reasonable schemes in light of the features of networks and the real situation.(4) Using these schemes in the optimization work of local transmission networks of Tianjin Unicom.In practice, after the optimization of transmission networks, the transmission capacity, network quality, network reliability and the utilization of resources are promoted substantially, which bears witness to the feasibility and effectiveness of the optimization schemes and to the fact that optimized transmission networks will fully meet the requirement of network businesses.
