Research And Development On Visits And Letters Management System Based On E-Government

With the rapid development of information technology, especially the popularity of Internet, e-government has been one of the most important fields in informatization construction in the world. E-government is a modern concept of government management and information technology, which plays an important role in improving and optimizing official organizations, restructuring public administration and enhancing the efficiency of government. In the long run, as a common global phenomenon, E-government will become one of the most important core competitiveness of the country .Visits and letters Management System is an important part of e-government construction. Then, combined with the daily work of dealing with visits and letters, the paper puts forward the petition work mode, discusses the characteristics, functions and significance of petition system, and proposes its solutions,Finally, this paper finishes the initial design and development of visits and letters management system based on .net and SQL-Server, completes user login, online petition, petition handling and statistics. So people can give petitions and know the processes or results any time and any where. The system also makes the physical separation between visitors and government to ensure confidentiality, accomplishes the automation of petition management. All that is the basis of further development of the e-government.
