The application of embedded technology in the field instrumentation and equipment is the development trend of monitoring system. Integrated embedded technology with Internet technology have made it's easy that link the entire industrial network and Internet seamlessly. Now most enterprise control network transmit data through private circuits, witht he penetration of Internet technology, Embedded device control and management of long-range no longer need a private communication line, and the transmission of the information is no longer limited to data information. On the other hand, the Xilinx Inc. FPGA-based microprocessor IP core MicroBlaze, with other peripheral IP core, can complete the design of programmable system-on-chip. The MicroBlaze 32 bit soft processing cores running at 150 MHz, up to 100 D-MIPS. Integrated it with the Internet can implement embedded Internet communication interface, and facilitate data collection to complete the long-range transmission. To this end, has made useful explorations.First of all, the paper has studied the based on the MicroBlaze soft-core processor and Xilinx's FPGA chip technology, as well as the adoption of Ethernet for remote transmission of data. Then it analyzed the variety of embedded modules that must be generated to achieve the system functions, and using the EDK tools of Xilinx Inc., to complete the embedded of MicroBlaze soft core processor in Spartan-3E, and generate Embedded on-chip peripheral bus interface, processor local bus interfaces, memory controller, local memory, Cache data and instructions Cache, UART, interrupt controller, timers, I2C interface, Ethernet interface, Using the abundant IP resources provided by EDK, build a relatively complete system of the embedded microprocessor. As a hardware platform,As a hardware platform, in order to enable the system to operation, carefully studied the principles of the uClinux embedded operating system, mastered the application configuration and the generation method, completed the design of the program under the uClinux operating system, include network Application program design and data transmission program design, and completed the transplant on the MicroBlaze soft-core processor. To enable the PC through the network function to receive and display data, and be able to process, store and transmit the received data, developed the PC terminal application software under the Linux operating system, and achieve the overall functionality of the system. The online testing has shown that, the design has achieved the function of the reception and transmission of signal, reached the intended target.
