From the characteristics, development, and the use of Instant Messaging, through its relationship with the social life, the paper analyzed the social, economic, and cultural causes of instant messaging tool, and explored the emergence and existence for a long time of instant messaging, and the use of the breadth and reasonableness so that expounded the influence of instant messaging for interpersonal understanding,behavior and emotional impact; analysed changes in the three aspects under the Instant Messaging, in order to recognize the reasonableness and necessity of construction of a harmonious interpersonal relationships.
