Design And Implementation Of The Examination Management System

With the development of Internet and information communication technology, the whole world has got access to the information age. To usher in the new era of knowledge revolution, every college has established its own information highway. Conceptions of digital library, one campus card, office automation, directory service system, academic management system and so on, have been designed one by one to improve the construction of college's digital campus.Academic Management System of Anhui Vocational Technology College of Industry & Economy is the core for constructing application support system of a digital campus. This system supplies an easy and fast network information service for students, teachers and supplementary staff and administrative personnel based on the campus network/Internet.This thesis has discussed the research status of digital campus and college academic management system, introduced the structure of C/S and B/S and database technology, set forth the contents and requirements of examination management work in academic management, and designed and implemented examination management system based on the campus network. The system is able to accomplish functions of examination subject's determination, examination arrangement, paper management, automated generation and printing of examination report, etc. Through the research of automated scheduling examination, it puts forward the basic algorithm of examination arrangement. The algorithm is able to achieve priority to arrange course examinations for many classes, deal with problems of consecutive examinations of classes and teacher's invigilation reasonably and scientifically.This system has been applied to the examination management in Anhui Vocational Technology College of Industry & Economy. The running results has shown that the system's design is reasonable, its function is being perfect, the algorithm of examination arrangement is effective, and it has a more strong application value.
