The Study On Automatic Generation Of ISS Structure

The core work of embedded system simulation is instruction-set simulation, the development of Instruction Set Simulator purely by hand is an onerous task, and easily goes wrong. It also needs to spend a lot of time to carry out the test on the accuracy of simulator.In this paper, I research a variety of ISS (Instruction Set Simulator) structure automatic generation technology, and finally choose Instruction Set Description Language automatic generation technology, and construct a simulator automatic generation tool which can with user's description generate an ISS. Automatic generation tool is developed in C language under linux, and I will certify it through descriping different architecture. It's right, but it still needs to be improved, so as to more accurately reflect the characteristics of the hardware.
